The Season is a city-wide celebration of the Riyadh city in itself. This grand celebratory festival of the Saudi Seasons demanded a grand application that could capture the essence and magic of this season that features the showpiece of modern Saudi Arabia.
Our client needed dynamic native applications for iOS and Android along with a web platform that could help them boost tourism in Saudi Arabia, generate revenue through new streams and provide a convenient platform for tourists to guide them in exploring the extraordinary activities of a citywide extravaganza - the Riyadh season events.
We also assisted our client in building a dedicated website, a Content Management System (CMS) and a customer care panel to streamline the backend process.
Targeting users from inside and outside Saudi Arabia and making the app equally comfortable for locals and tourists.
Adding interactive 3D content, increasing dwell time, and combining the power of AR technology with physical experience.

Riyadh Season AR app is as dynamic as the festival. It is filled with features that give wings to your imagination while offering you everything related to every event in one place.
A great product design is the result of excellent user research. That’s why we studied the app’s users thoroughly and created an information architecture that not only entices the users but also makes them a part of Riyadh’s land of dreams.
We used the tree structure or a trickle-down-effect and placed broader categories on the top, followed by sub-categories that users can navigate through. The user flow is seamless, and the architecture is focused on the user’s goals and cognitive effort usage.
We created a warm, visually appealing, and engaging color palette that resonates with the brand’s tone of voice and compliments its visual design language remarkably. We made a deliberate choice to incorporate colors that stimulate customer engagement and bring attention to Riyadh's brand.

The app’s home screen allows users to get to the meat of your app. That’s right, the Feature Events, the Upcoming Events, and the Zone Entry Tickets. It allows navigation into various events, tailored recommendations for events of interest, and search is readily available from the action bar.
Each event has a separate page where users get a brief description of the event, the duration, the timings, ratings, genre of the event, special notes, map for navigation to the venue, similar event recommendations, and option for booking tickets to the particular event.

We used our augmented reality tech expertise to accentuate this app with an AR experience route that navigates the users when walking to their destination inside the event venue or zone by superimposing direction and details on the display screen instead of just presenting you with the map.

Users can get notifications regarding their favorite events from this section. Any changes in the event venue, dates, or timings are also notified via this feature.
